Gail Raynus is President at ShareDynamics.
She has over 20 years of experience in information technology and services
and has full responsibility for management of ShareDynamics that include
setting strategy, making key decisions and charting overall company
direction that positions ShareDynamics to better meet its business goals.
Prior to joining ShareDynamics, Gail Raynus served as VP of Professional
Services at VistaPortal Software, Inc., where she had a wide range of
responsibilities, including strategy definition and successful
implementation of software projects that included state-of the art
peer-to-peer networks, J2EE, Java, JXTA, and XML. Before that, Ms.
Raynus directed successful vendor selection and implementation of company
wide Enterprise Requirements Planning System (SAP R/3).
Ms. Raynus spent 13 years at Hewlett-Packard Corporation Medical Systems
Division, where she participated and led multiple programs in the area of order
fulfillment, quality management, business process re-engineering and process
automation and has received an HP President' s award recognizing her "extraordinary commitment
to customer satisfaction".
Gail is currently a President of the Boston Chapter of Business
Process Management Professionals and a member of a number of
professional organizations such as the Project Management Institute (PMI),
Knowledge Management Forum, and BPM Institute.

Joseph Raynus provides industry consulting, mentoring and training
for quality and process improvement initiatives, management of conflicting
business objectives and development of measurement frameworks. Joseph is a pioneer
in the computer industry and an early champion of software metrics,
measurements, software quality and reliability. He was a Founding
Member of The National Software Council, supporting the recognition
of software as a critical resource and economic force and a member
of its Advisory Board.
Recently, he has developed an eight-step Quantitative Business Process
Management Framework methodology that supports capabilities-based
planning, resource allocation, and monitoring and control by use
of strategically aligned performance metrics and key process indicators.
Mr. Raynus is a frequent speaker at industry events and also runs
seminars and hands-on workshops to introduce participants to the
eight-step Framework components and teach them how to develop measures
and metrics that are tightly aligned with organizational goals and
objectives and provide a reliable mechanism for monitoring and controlling
business vitality.
Joseph is the author of several books including “Software Process
Improvement with CMM,” (Boston: Artech House, 1999) which is also
available in Japanese and Chinese; and his latest, “Improving Business
Process Performance: Gain Agility, Create Value, and Achieve Success”
(NY: Taylor & Francis) which is dedicated to the
issues of Quantitative Performance Management, strategy definition
and organizational alignment.
In addition to his work at ShareDynamics, Mr. Raynus is an Adjunct
Professor of Information Systems at Northeastern University College
of Engineering, where he teaches courses in Information Systems
Planning and Management and Business Process Engineering.
